2025 Hawaii Retreat
Sales will open at the end of March 2025

If you're considering joining us in 2026, here are some good things to know about the Hawaii Retreat: 

  • We typically announce the next year’s retreat while still at the current year’s retreat, so that the current year participants can lock in their spots early. The retreats usually are sold out, or close to it, in the first two months after opening sales. 
  • Deposits for 2026 will be $1000 or less per room.
  • We don’t typically have the final costs worked out when we start taking deposits. Contracting with the hotel is a lengthy process, and some of our costs (like catering) are unknowns when we are that far out from the event date. To mitigate that, your deposit and any other payments are fully refundable until Thanksgiving. 
  • For planning purposes, the average spend for our participants is around 5,500 this year, which covers the room, the program, and some meals.  This average factors in those who have upgraded their rooms and those who have extended their stay before and after the retreat.
  • We can invoice you on a monthly basis if that fits your budget better than a single lump payment.
  • We can help with your flights, hotel, transfers to the pier, and trip insurance. 
  • We partner with an excursion provider in case you want to see more of Oahu or have a non-player travel companion.

2026 Cruise?

We have not yet determined if we will be cruising in 2026.  However, if you plan on joining us on any future cruises, here are some good things to know:

  • Stateroom deposits are as follows:
    • $500 total if one person is in the room
    • $500 total if two people are in the room
    • $750 total if three people are in the room
    • $1000 total if four people are in the room
  • We ask that everyone have their stateroom paid in full 4 months prior to sailing. You'll complete a payment authorization form, then we manually input that into the cruise line's system. Most of the cruise lines offer "Flex pay" where you can choose how many payments you would like it broken into. 
  • We will invoice you separately for the program fee after the cruise line's payment deadline. 
  • We can help with your flights, hotel, transfers to the pier, and trip insurance. 
  • We partner with an excursion provider that offers a "back in time" guarantee. 

No matter which you are attending, Craig & Sarah send out mailings leading up to the event, host informational Zooms, and survey the attendees to tailor the workshop offerings. 

Map & Key provides a weekly newsletter starting in January of each year leading up to that year's events, a social app for peer to peer communication between program participants, and an itinerary app that allows you to keep your program materials and schedule available on your device.
